RHR Cleaning Services offers opportunities for people who want to earn extra money, build a part-time schedule or take on cleaning jobs as needed.

You don't necessarily need years of professional cleaning experience. We are looking for people who are dependable, hardworking, honest, professional and genuinely care about customers.

Experience is preferred, but the right attitude, work ethic and reliability are extremely important.

What You Can Expect Working With RHR

Here's what working with our cleaning team can look like.

Flexible Scheduling

Build a part-time schedule or pick up cleaning jobs on the side, depending on available opportunities.

Direct-to-Jobsite

Cleaners generally drive directly to the customer location rather than reporting to an office every day.

Team-Based Jobs

Many larger homes are cleaned by a team of two or more cleaners. Some assignments may be completed by one cleaner.

Tips & Customer Recognition

Customer tips and recognition may provide opportunities to earn additional money depending on the assignment.

No Daily Office Commute

You generally won't need to drive to the RHR office every morning. Jobsite and supply procedures will be explained during onboarding.

Growth Opportunities

As you gain experience, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities within the company.

Compensation

Competitive Pay Based on Experience

RHR's cleaner compensation is based on experience, responsibilities and the position being filled.

Current starting pay: $17/hour for qualifying positions.

What Working With RHR Can Look Like

Assignment times can vary depending on the customer and the job.

Getting to the Job

  • Arrive at the customer location on time.
  • Standard morning jobs may begin around 10:00 a.m.
  • The customer may request a different start time.
  • RHR will communicate schedule changes or special instructions.
  • Reliable transportation is required.

Communication

  • RHR uses text messaging for important work communication.
  • Check your messages regularly.
  • Different RHR managers and staff may monitor the business phone.
  • Respond promptly to assignment and scheduling messages.
  • Ask questions when you need clarification.
Before You Apply

Cleaner Requirements

We are looking for people who understand that reliability and customer care are just as important as cleaning ability.

  • Genuinely care about customers and their homes or businesses.
  • Be dependable and reliable.
  • Be hardworking and able to work at a productive pace.
  • Be able to clean efficiently without sacrificing quality.
  • Once you accept an assignment, show up as scheduled and communicate promptly if an emergency occurs.
  • Pass a required background screening before servicing occupied homes.
  • Be honest, trustworthy and professional.
  • Be able to perform the duties included on RHR's standard cleaning checklist.
  • Be physically able to bend, reach, kneel and lift up to approximately 25 pounds as needed.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from customer locations.
  • Have a good eye for detail.
  • Have daytime or morning availability for available assignments.
  • Be willing to help teammates when assistance is needed.
  • Take pride in leaving the customer's space clean and cared for.

To make our hiring process more convenient, all initial interviews are completed online through our secure, self-recorded video interview platform. This allows you to complete your interview whenever it's most convenient for you, without having to schedule an in-person appointment.

We understand that some applicants may be hesitant about recording a video interview, especially with so many scams online today. Please be assured that this is a legitimate part of our hiring process. Your interview will only be viewed by our management team for hiring purposes and will never be shared publicly.

The interview consists of a few questions and typically takes just 5–10 minutes to complete.
